Short journal entry just to get things wiped clean off my page.
It'll be a new year soon, and I'm re-vamping my DA... Going to try to get back into the swing of things.
Over the past several months I have felt that DeviantArt has become too juvenile for me.
There is so much focused on artificiality rather than the actual artists and works themselves that I began to feel the site wasn't really about the art any more.

I still feel this way.

However, if there is one thing I still feel was successful in creating and maintaining my drive to keep creating things that were beautiful- it was having a DeviantArt page, and all of my fans & followers that I had accumulated- as few as they be.

All of you who still support me and my work are in for a treat.
A lot has happened over the past year.
I am a photographer now~
I attend college, and I work for newspapers.
This is my new passion... And although I still draw, I am excited to open up this new chapter and see how it pans out in the coming year.
